Whenever I wear saree to work, the compliment I get the most is ‘your saree and blouse collection is so beautiful.’ Now the truth is that i probably don’t even have 50 sarees and more than 10 blouses. Yes! that is the truth, but even if I say it, no one will believe it.
The trick is to wear a new combination of saree and blouse and to accessorise it right. In the picture you can see that I am wearing the same blouse but with different sarees. Each time I wear this blouse, people notice because its very striking.
I am following the 100 saree pact, which means I will try to wear a saree at least a 100 times in 365 days. Many women are trying to wear a 100 sarees in 365 days but I aim to wear the same collection of sarees differently 100 times. After all the idea is to bring them out of the trunks and the closets and to wear them in their full glory…..not buy new ones and pack more of them in your trunks when you get bored with the pact.
